CABARITA Beach Sports Club offers diners two completely different styles of cuisine at the Dragon Sea Restaurant. Dragon Sea is fully licensed with an extensive selection of wines to compliment most dishes. The highly qualified and experienced chefs create delicious dishes with excellent quality and value.

Dragon Sea uses Cape Grim Natural Beef – Australia’s only purely grass fed MSA beef. Cape Grim beef is produced from selected Angus Cattle. They are raised without antibiotics & free of hormone growth promotants, as certified by the Tasmanian Government.

 

Chinese Restaurant

The Chinese restaurant opened in 1999 to complement the existing bistro. The restaurant’s owner/chef Chris Lau was born in Hong Kong and has since enjoyed much success working as a chef at some of Hong Kong’s top hotels including the Peninsula and the Sheraton.

Popular dishes on the Chinese menu include King Prawn Fritters, Sizzling Black Pepper Steak, Mongolian Lamb and Scallops with Ginger and Shallots.

Due to the popularity of the restaurant bookings are essential Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.

Thursday Roast Night has 2 sittings 6pm and 7.15pm. Roast finishes at 8pm (NSW time).

The Bistro

Head chef Luke Schwartz completed his apprenticeship in Sydney. Luke then went on to work at Twin Towns as chef de parti, Kingscliff Beach Club and Terranora Lakes Country Club. Luke joined us in 2003 as head chef and has been instrumental in providing consistent good quality food.  

The Bistro provides a wonderful selection of freshly cooked dishes. Popular dishes include – Salt and Pepper Squid Salad, Surf and Turf, Tournedos Maitre d'hotel, Lightly Battered Spanish Mackeral and Smoked Salmon and dill cream fettucine.

Cabarita Beach Sports Club is committed to supporting local suppliers and reducing the carbon footprint. All restaurant waste is recycled in our worm farm and we use fresh herbs grown in our herb garden.
